How much is it?
The cost will vary for Architectural Stained Glass as a combination of scope and style. Our initial consultation is $350, which is rolled directly into the cost of the windows, and most windows I design will average between $350 and $500 per square foot – with a simple grid being less than an ornately painted landscape. Repairs and curations are each unique and priced after I assess the actual piece in question, and I only begin work after we know exactly what you need me to do.
How long will it take?
Once we have the final design and colors selected, most projects will take only 4 to 8 weeks for completion. Occasionally things happen which are beyond our control (like when my studio flooded!), but I do my very best.
How do we make the design?
In our initial discussion we discuss the styles you enjoy and what you are expecting; from there I draw up options for us to explore. The final designs are created as a collaboration between us, coupling my expertise and experience with everything you are hoping to see. We’ll pick out the final colors and exact glass types together, as well. Surprises are great for birthdays, not so much when we’re building your home!
